In collaboration with many of our lay-led committees, TBE staff, and clergy, we will be offering a morning of tikkun olam opportunities for adults and families with children of all ages to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Join us from 10:00 am–12:00 pm, and then stay for pizza lunch, salads, and desserts to schmooze with our community!
Community service projects include:
- Preparing a meal for residents of Brie’s House, a welcoming home for returning citizens
- Assembling soup jars for those in need of food.
- Making blankets, knit scarves and mittens for those experiencing homelessness.
- Creating dignity bags with necessities and toiletries for shelter residents.
- Making housewarming gifts for young adults who are moving into their first homes
- Writing cards for patients at a healthcare clinic.
